What is a Galapagos cruise with Ecoventura really like? We can tell you what we offer and show you photos and videos from the islands, but don’t just take it from us… Find out for yourself from the guests who have actually traveled with us before!
We are so excited to share some articles about the Ecoventura experience written by travel bloggers from down under! Two sets of travel bloggers spent time with us in the Galapagos recently and wrote about their experiences on their blog. Nathan and Sarah of Exploring Kiwis joined us from New Zealand and Alesha and Jarryd of NOMADasaurus joined us from Australia.
Let’s dive in, check out their photos, and see what they had to say!
We offer two unique 7-night itineraries that explore different routes and islands. Alesha and Jarryd spent two weeks back to back with us in the Galapagos in order to experience both itineraries! In this blog post, they share many of the incredible photos captured during their time spent with us.
From baby sea lions to the many different beaches of the islands, take a journey with your eyes and see the unforgettable beauty they witnessed during their trip. You will see why the wonders of the archipelago are at the top of their favorites list!
Alesha and Jarryd share what factors influenced their decision to travel with Ecoventura instead of other cruise companies. They also detail their first week with us on our first class vessel, the M/Y LETTY.
Their photos and descriptions give great insight into the day to day experience traveling on Itinerary B – from the time they arrived on our yacht through their last day. They talk about each island, what animals they saw, and what activities they enjoyed daily.
On to week two! This week was spent on our luxury vessel, the MV ORIGIN, exploring Itinerary A along our central/southern route. Alesha and Jarryd had some truly remarkable wildlife encounters including spotting a shark during their first day!
This post also talks about the high-quality cuisine we serve on our vessels and highlights the luxury accommodations of the ORIGIN. They finish the post by highlighting which itinerary they preferred as well as why Galapagos rivaled their trip to Antarctica.
Because the animals here seem almost fearless around humans, the Galapagos is known as one of the best places to see wildlife. This made the archipelago an obvious choice for their next adventure!
Nathan and Sarah traveled with us aboard the MV ORIGIN on Itinerary B, our western/northern route. In this post, find out why they chose Ecoventura for their trip to the Galapagos, see some of the best islands to visit, and get the flora and fauna highlights of each of those islands.
Four months into their time spent in South America, Nathan and Sarah share their practical tips for travel on the continent. Most of this month was spent exploring Peru followed by a stop in Guayaquil, Ecuador on the way to the Galapagos Islands.
Find out where they stayed and how they traveled to Ecuador. Get a sneak peek at some of the photos they took during their time with us. The next post includes more details of their trip.
This post highlights month 5 of their 6 month trip to South America. See what animals the kiwis had close encounters with during their time in the Galapagos and where they stayed after their cruise.
There is also a write up on their other stops in Ecuador and Colombia. They share some great ideas for activities you might enjoy before and after your cruise along with their lessons learned.
It makes us so happy to learn what our guests loved about their time with us and to see all of their beautiful photos. These bloggers from down under are all extremely talented when it comes to bringing their adventure to life for their readers. Thank you NOMADasaurus and Exploring Kiwis for sharing your experience with us!
